GrainCorp Site (AT CAPACITY)

GrainCorp is a diversified agribusiness with a global, end-to-end supply chain that connects Australian growers with domestic and international customers across food, feed and fuel markets.

The company's two major operating models are Agribusiness; encompassing an expansive grain storage network, rail and portside infrastructure and supply chains, and Nutrition and Energy; comprising processing and handling services across human and animal nutrition industries in Australia and New Zealand, as well as agri-energy products like used cooking oil and tallow.

GrainCorp’s processing site at West Footscray in Victoria produces a variety of products, including blended and single oils, infant nutrition, bakery products, margarines and spreads, and frying shortenings.

The site also houses a leading food manufacturing pilot plant, allowing the teams and their customers to test and perfect products prior to full-scale production.

Cost:         $55.00 per person

Times:       8.40am: Depart Rydges Hotel via coach

                 9.15am:  Arrival at GrainCorp and sign in

                 9.30am – 10.00am:  Presentation and Q&A

                10.00am – 10.30am:  Safety briefing + light refreshments

                10.30am – 12.15pm:   Tour of facility

                12.30pm:  Departure to airport and then Rydges Hotel

   

Where:    West Footscray, Melbourne

Important notes:

  • Bags or other personal belongings cannot be taken within the facility (these can be left in the secure conference room)  
  • We do not permit external photography within the facility  

Further, as this is a manufacturing site, there are some dress code requirements for safety reasons:

  • Long sleeves and long pants are required (corporate attire/dresses are not appropriate)
  • No jewellery can be worn (only exception is plain wedding bands)
  • Enclosed steel-cap boots must be worn. People with their own should bring them, however we will provide some 
  • Eyewear and hairnets are required in some parts of the facility (GrainCorp will provide these)

ANZ Cyber Security and Fraud Information Session              (AT CAPACITY)

Welcome by Christine O'Reilly,  Independent Non-Executive Director, ANZ. 

Christine is Chair of the Audit Committee and a member of the Risk Committee, Human Resources Committee and Nomination and Board Operations Committee. 

Christine is one of Australia’s leading non-executive directors and has held executive roles in the infrastructure and financial services industries. This includes being CEO of GasNet Australia and Co-Head of Unlisted Infrastructure Investments at Colonial First State Global Asset Management and follows an early career including investment banking and audit experience at Price Waterhouse. Relevant other directorships Director: Stockland (from 2018) and BHP Group Limited (from 2020).

Visit to ANZ Security Operations Centre (SOC) Tour (30 mins) – Gajan to host

  • Gajan Ananthapavan (30 mins) Visit to ANZ’s Security Operations Centre (SOC) at 833 Collins Street – Gajan Ananthapavan (Lead Security Operations direct report to ANZ’s Head of Cyber Security) and Jill Campbell  to guide group to Security Operations Centre Level 4. Gajan addresses group (Discussions as to what the SOC is and does, areas of focus etc and answers questions)  
  • Maan Soufan and Ruth Talalla (30 mins) Members of the Customer Protection team for ANZ Retail will speak to the group
