IMPACT 2020 - cANCELLED

It is with great regret that we announce this morning the Victorian Auditor-General’s Office made the heart breaking decision to cancel the IMPACT 2020 Conference scheduled for 23-24 March, 2020.

This is not a decision that has been taken lightly. Whilst only a short time ago we felt optimistic that the conference would proceed, we are all aware of the effect the coronavirus (COVID19) is having. We have had a significant number of speakers and delegates cancel due to directives that no staff are to undertake non-essential travel. However, our major concern relates to the safety and security of all attendees and speakers.

The situation is very fluid and changing daily, so to allay ongoing and increased uncertainty for attendees and presenters, the decision has been made to cancel.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your understanding.

Full refunds of registration costs will be issued. Hotel bookings arranged through CIS Event Management will also be refunded. You will receive an email in the next 1-3 days to confirm your refund has been issued. It may take a few banking days for your funds to show in your account but please let us know should there be any problems.

If you are still planning to travel to Melbourne and do not want the accommodation we booked for you cancelled, please let us know by replying to this message. 

Thank you for your support of the conference. We will endeavour to obtain as many planned presentations as possible and make them available for registered attendees.
